Owatonna Business Women is excited to host the 50th Annual Woman of Achievement event on Saturday, March 19th, 2022 at the Owatonna Country Club!
What began in 1972 has become an annual tradition for the Owatonna community to celebrate and honor the successes of local women making a difference through their careers and community involvement. The WOA Celebration also serves as a fundraiser to provide scholarships to local women pursuing post-secondary education directly out of high school or returning to school after a break or to continue higher education. This year, Owatonna Business Women will give $10,000 in scholarships along with funding several GED scholarships. Ways you can get involved: *Sponsor the Event* We’re asking the community to partner with us along with this year’s Title Sponsor Federated Insurance®. Being a WOA sponsor creates a direct impact on our community by helping women better their lives through post-secondary education. *Nominate a Deserving Woman* OBW honors women in three categories - Woman of Achievement, Young Careerist, and Lifetime Achievement. We invite you to nominate women who live or work in Steele County in any category. Visit our website for more info on the categories. *Apply for a Scholarship* OBW will award 10, $1,000 scholarships in 2022. Scholarship applications will be accepted until 5 pm, Friday, Feb. 4. Encourage a high school senior or woman continuing her education to apply! *Attend the Event* We invite YOU to attend this 50th Annual Woman of Achievement Celebration! This year, we’re going glam with an Old Hollywood Glam theme. Dress up, enjoy the red carpet and be inspired!
