Owatonna Business Women Monthly: Fashion & Trends with Marissa, owner of Graif Clothing

Join Owatonna Business Women for our July member meeting! This month we will hear from Marissa Brostrom, owner of Graif Clothing, on the joys and challenges of owning a clothing store, along with some tips and trends on fashion. 

Marissa Brostrom, lifelong native to the greater Mankato area, currently resides in St.Peter, MN with her husband, Matthew and 2 boys, Oliver (5) and Conway (3). She had a clear vision of her career path after her first retail job- which led to her bachelors degree in fashion and retail management and marketing from the art institutes. With her 15 years of combined retail experience, she has had the opportunity to run and open corporate stores such as New York and Company and Tommy Bahama. However, her mindset was to be able to be apart of something more local and meaningful which led her to Graif Clothing, an established Menswear store that’s been around since 1924. After a few years of working for the previous owner, she purchased the business in 2019, then opened a 2^nd location (Owatonna) in 2021. Serving on various boards and being able to give back to our communities while living out her dream is her motivation to continue to move her family and the business forward.
