Michelle Redman began her career at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota in 2008 in Fund Development. In 2015, she was named Executive Director of the agency. Since 2015, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota has increased the number of children served by 75% and is currently serving 817 youth per year. In 2018 and 2019, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Minnesota was named National Agency of the Year by Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
Michelle has been a mentor since 2008. She was a mentor for 6 years to Cheyenne. She is currently matched with Rosy since 2014.
Michelle serves on Big Brothers Big Sisters National Leadership Council and is the co-chair of the NLC Marketing Committee. She is the Midwest Representative for Big Brothers Big Sisters Mid-Large Affiliate Association Steering Committee. Locally, Michelle serves on the Steele County Coalition for Healthy Youth.
Michelle enjoys running, boating, traveling and family time. Her and her husband cherish the time they spend with their adult children Anna, Jack and Lily who live in Chicago and Austin.
