Come join us this month as we hear from Whitney Harvey, Senior Director of Workforce Diversity and Inclusion, for the Minnesota Chamber Foundation. Whitney is passionate about teaching business professionals the 'what, why and how' of diversity, equity, and inclusion in addition to identifying and working through hidden microaggressions.
Whitney Harvey is a dynamic and passionate leader who, in February 2022, assumed the pivotal role of Senior Director of Workforce Diversity and Inclusion at the Minnesota Chamber Foundation. In this capacity, she spearheads initiatives aimed at empowering and guiding Minnesota businesses in fostering inclusive environments that recognize and honor the diversity of the state's workforce.
Beyond her role in the business community, Whitney is deeply committed to community service. She serves as the board president for Basic Needs Services—a local community non-profit focused on uplifting those who have encountered hardship by providing barrier-free access to basic needs services.
Whitney holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Gustavus Adolphus College and a Masters of Health Care Administration. Currently residing in Cottage Grove, MN, Whitney finds joy in live music, sports, and vacationing with her family (husband, Luke, and two daughters, Riley (12) and Mila (6)).
